HISTORY
Those who know the true history behind the name “Banton Construction” will develop a strong understanding of the vision, drive and determination that truly makes Banton what it is today.
A lifelong resident of Connecticut, Frank Pullano grew up on Banton Street in North Haven. For those familiar with the area in the early 1950s, due to logistical issues with the construction of Interstate 91 and adjoining connectors, Banton Street was plagued by frequent flooding of the Quinnipiac River, which later forced the entire community to evacuate their homes and their neighborhood. Banton Street's residents took great pride in their neighborhood, remaining a close knit community through the years. So much so that years later, Frank Pullano would name his fledgling construction company as a tribute to the neighborhood.
Banton Construction Company was founded in 1979 and has steadily grown to emerge as a leading general contractor in the Connecticut market. The company's theme has remained consistent – slow and steady growth over the years – and the firm values each of its individual projects, employees and clients as the building block for the future.
Although the firm has expanded, it remains a mid-sized operation with the advantage of upper management's close scrutiny of each individual project. This practice has ensured a strong record of client satisfaction over the years.
