PRIVATE COMMERCIAL

Similar to its history of undertaking a wide variety of public projects, Banton has also focused on new construction and renovation of private commercial projects for a diverse range of clients. Banton has constructed retail and residential complexes, restaurants, movie theaters, office buildings and corporate headquarters throughout its history. Through this work, Banton has developed solid relationships with large corporations, business owners, and private local developers

Below is a brief sampling of Banton’s key private commercial projects:

Sturbridge Commons Office Park – North Haven, CT
This project consisted of the complete site development and construction of a nine building office park. Banton completed the buildings as shells and then returned to complete individual tenant fit-ups as the units were sold. These fit-ups ranged from the offices of attorneys, accountants, developers and insurance companies, and involved the design and construction of many high-end interior fit-ups. Some seventy percent of the trade work was performed with Banton’s in-house forces. Designed and built to simulate a historic colonial village, this project was completed in record time and serves as one of Banton’s first landmark projects.
