Verizon Windsor Switch – Windsor, CT
Banton constructed the original Windsor mobile telephone switch office in 1994. Renovations were performed in 1998 and again in 2000. The most recent phase of this project, completed in 2006, added a 30,000 square foot wing to the facility. This project represented a range of difficult site development conditions, which included full rock removal and a major retaining wall to deal with extreme elevation changes. The existing switch facility remained in full operation during the course of the project, with extensive measures taken to ensure its uninterrupted performance.
