Transportation Project Experience

Banton Construction is recognized in Connecticut as a leading general contractor, particularly in the area of transportation related construction. Past projects have included the construction and renovation of train stations, airports, transportation centers, maintenance facilities, bridges and salt storage structures for the Connecticut State Department of Transportation. These projects have included an array of highly specialized construction including site work, drainage, bituminous paving, road and bridge construction, as well as catenary and electrical work.

Through our work in this arena, Banton has gained extensive knowledge of working in areas with heavy pedestrian and vehicular traffic, coordinating off-hour work schedules, and maintaining the highest possible level of safety, security and noise control.
